Welcome to Pound Ridge Elementary School

Welcome to our school website!  Our website will provide you with information about our school, our programs, and resources that will help you to understand how we approach teaching and learning at Pound Ridge Elementary School.  PRES is one of the five Kindergarten-Fifth grade elementary schools in the Bedford Central School District.  PRES is located in the picturesque hamlet of Pound Ridge.  We provide our students with a strong sense of community by building upon our annual traditions, robust academic programs, and focus on our students’ individual needs. Our faculty and staff are dedicated educators who support the whole child by addressing each child’s talents, strengths, and needs.

The PRES PTA and parent volunteers are instrumental in building our strong sense of community.  Our PTA enriches our student experience through special programming, author visits, book fairs and family events.  Parents are our partners in the journey of their child’s elementary school experience.  Please visit the PTA link to learn more about how to get involved in the PTA.
